Kerr Farm Wine is pleased to announce that the Famous Kerr
Farm Pinotage, the New P’08 vintage, is back on the wine list at Takahe
Restaurant and Bar. Owners Cherie and Tate Smeele are pleased to have this wine,
very popular with the locals of Titrangi, back on the Wine list.
It is the perfect match to go with our Scotch fillet steak or eveybody’s favourite the lamb shanks say’s Cherie.
The P’08 is the latest vintage of Pinotage from Kerr Farm at Kumeu. This wine is made from the oldest Pinotage vines in New Zealand and is showing the flavours of rich dark fruits with soft ripe tannins and a touch of smoky mushroom. It’s great with chocolate, so keep some for dessert.
